ขอบเขตของการศึกษาคือโรงเรียนสมุทรปราการ และใช้จำนวนประชากรนักเรียนจำนวน 100คน แบ่งเป็นชั้นมัธยมศีกษาตอนต้น (50) และมัธยมศีกษาตอนปลาย (50) ภาคเรียนที่1ปีการศีกษา 2556
เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บข้อมูลคือ แบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์คือ ค่าเฉลี่ย x-bar และค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน S.D. ผลการศึกษาวิจัยพบว่าโดยภาพรวมของการเตรียมพร้อมด้านภาษาเข้าสู่อาเซียนอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง
