For London-based designer Marcin Podsiadlo, fashion is both a form of self-expression and a necessary piece of our everyday world. As a result, the 20-something-year-old enjoys blending various fabrics with luxe sportswear to create something that is both excitingly new and totally functional for its wearer. Podsiadlo’s latest range – “Hold Me Tight” – draws inspiration from Martin Bell’s 1984 documentary Streetwise as well as the work from environmental artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude. It has been said that the main concept behind this collection is an attempt to show the lightness of air and the freedom that comes with it. Additionally, a few pieces feature prints made in collaboration with Polish artist Pawel Eibel.
