หน่วยการวิเคราะห์คือ นักศึกษาสาขาสถิติประยุกต์ ปีการศึกษา 2557 จำนวน 18 คน ของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการรวบรวมข้อมูลที่ใช้ในการศึกษาคือแบบสอบถาม และแบบสัมภาษณ์ โดยข้อคำถามที่ใช้ในแบบสอบถาม และแบบสัมภาษณ์เป็นข้อคำถามในเรื่องเดียวกันที่ตรงตามวัตถุประสงค์ของการศึกษา การตรวจสอบคุณภาพเครื่องมือใช้เกณฑ์ความวางใจ ซึ่งได้ทำการตรวจสอบในสองเรื่องคือ 1) ด้วยวิธีการเชื่อมโยงแบบสามเส้าโดยใช้วิธีการรวบรวมข้อมูลหลักฐานแตกต่างกัน และ2) ด้วยวิธีการตรวจสอบโดยบุคคลผู้เกี่ยวข้อง
