As with Microsoft,

3M Co. was bought based on its MACD.

When 3M caught my eye,

it had just dropped about $1.25,

and was rather close to its 52-week low.

The MACD was still above the signal line so I decided to purchase.

I later ended up selling this stock for a profit of $945.

If you notice the higher black line on the chart,

this is the point at which I sold my shares.

I had a lucky instinct about this security and sold it at a very good time,

just before it started to come down again.

The price of the stock is just about where I had bought it again.

If I were to keep investing,

I would keep an eye on this stock and wait for it to plummet further.

When the MACD catches back up to the signal line,

then I would purchase it again
