วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัยในครั้งนี้ เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล ปัจจัยจูงใจและลักษณะผู้นำที่มีผลต่อขวัญและกำลังในการปฏิบัติงานของบุคลากรศาลจังหวัดนครปฐม เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ ประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ บุคลากรศาลจังหวัดนครปฐม จำนวน 174 คน ผู้วิจัยได้กำหนดกลุ่มตัวตัวอย่าง จำนวน 121 คน โดยใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บข้อมูล และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วย การแจกแจงความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน สถิติ t-test การวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวน และการวิเคราะห์การถดถอย
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ความพึงพอใจในการปฏิบัติงานอยู่ในระดับมาก โดยมีปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อขวัญและกำลังใจในการปฏิบัติงานมีดังนี้ 1) ปัจจัยจูงใจ ประกอบด้วย ด้านการยอมรับนับถือ ด้านลักษณะงาน ด้านความรับผิดชอบ ด้านความก้าวหน้าและด้านความสำเร็จของงาน 2) ปัจจัยด้านลักษณะภาวะผู้นำ ประกอบด้วย ผู้นำแบบชี้นำ ผู้นำแบบสนับสนุน ผู้นำแบบมีส่วนร่วม และผู้นำแบบมุ่งเน้นความสำเร็จ
