ไอดอลของผมคือคุณพ่อครับ พ่อเป็นเหมือนแรงบันดาลใจทุกอย่างของผม เป็นคนที่ทำอะไรแล้วต้องทำให้สำเร็จ พ่อเก่งเรื่องทำอาหารครับ ฝีมือพ่อเคยอยู่ในยุคทองของอาหารเลยก็ว่าได้ในช่วงนั้นพ่ออายุเพียง30ปีเท่านั้นแต่ก้าวขึ้นไปเป็นพ่อครัวระดับแนวหน้าของประเทศไทยเลยก็ว่าได้ พ่อเคยบอกผมเสมอว่าความสำเร็จจริงๆแล้วมันมีแค่เสี้ยวเดียวที่เราจะทำได้แต่ถ้าได้มันมามันจะทวีคูณความใหญ่เท่าดวงจันทร์ เพราะฉะนั้นควรที่จะรีบไขว่คว้าเอาไว้ไม่ว่าจะนานเท่าไหร่ความภาคภูมิใจจะอยู่ที่เรา
ผมจึงอยากเป็นพ่อครัวเหมือนพ่อเพราะมันจะทำให้ทุกคนที่ทานอาหารของเรามีความสุขแต่นั้นไม่ได้หมายความว่ามันจะได้มาง่ายๆหรอกนะมันต้องใช้ทั้งกายทั้งใจอย่างที่พ่อสอนนั้นแหละ จนวันหนึ่งพ่อถามผมว่าพ่อครัวที่พ่อหมายถึงลูกรู้มั้ยว่าคืออะไร ความจริงแล้วพ่อครัวคือการใส่ใจกับรายละเอียดที่มีอยู่ตรงหน้า จริงๆในความคิดของผมก็ไม่รู้ว่าอยากเป็นพ่อครัวจริงๆหรือเปล่า หรือแค่อยากเป็นตามพ่อ
ตอนเด็กๆผมชอบร้องเพลงเพราะฉะนั้นความฝันสูงสุดของผมคือนักร้อง แต่ความจริงมันก็คือความจริง อะไรที่เหนือกว่ามันก็ยังคงเหนือกว่า ผมจึงเลือกเดินไปพร้อมๆกันทั้งสองทาง โดยที่เราเลือกทางใดทางหนึ่งเป็นหลักและอีกทางเป็นรอง คือ ผมยังคงร้องเพลงที่ผมรักได้ และยังคงตามความฝันอีกก้าวหนึ่งของตนเองได้โดยการเป็นพ่อครัว
ไม่ยากเลยใช่ไหมโดยการที่เราจะเลือกอาชีพตามความถนัดของเราและไม่ยากเลยที่เราจะชอบอะไรหลายๆอย่างพร้อมกันแต่จงเลือกให้ดี ไม่ใช่เพียงแต่จับปลาสองมือเราควรเลือกจับปลามือหนึ่งให้มั่นคงและอีกมือเอาไว้จับที่หัวใจ นั้นก็คือความฝันในวัยเด็ก
มีคนเคยกล่าวว่าจงอย่าลืมแม้กระทั้งความฝันในวัยเด็ก และ จงอย่าอยู่แบบไร้ซึ่งคนที่เป็นที่เทิดทูน ประโยคที่ทำให้ผมได้รู้จักกับคำว่า ความฝัน และ คำว่า ไอดอล
