จากการจัดการประชุมและระดมความคิดเห็นในช่วงเวลาที่ผ่านมา ก่อให้เกิดข้อเสนอแนะสำหรับประเทศไทยและประเทศในประชาคมอาเซียนดังต่อไปนี้ เพื่อให้การผลักดันการเป็นประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียนได้อย่างสมบูรณ์

2. การให้ความรู้และสร้างความตระหนักในสิ่งที่ไทยและอาเซียนจะได้รับจากการเข้าร่วมเป็นประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียน และควรเร่งรัดการดำเนินการตามแผนแม่บทว่าด้วยการเชื่อมโยงระหว่างกันในอาเซียนซึ่งสามารถดำเนินการได้ในรูปแบบต่างๆ เช่น การจัดเสวนาอาเซียน อาเซียนสัญจร การให้การสนับสนุนด้านบุคคลากรกับส่วนราชการ ภาคเอกชน และภาคประชาชน เพื่อสร้างองค์ความรู้เกียวกับอาเซียนและประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียน
