จากกรณีเมื่อวานนี้ (17 สิงหาคม 2558) เวลา 19.00 น. เกิดเหตุระเบิดภายในรั้วศาลพระพรหม ข้างโรงแรมเอราวัณ สี่แยกราชประสงค์ ส่งผลให้มีผู้เสียชีวิตและบาดเจ็บจำนวนมาก

พล.ต.ท.ประวุฒิ ถาวรศิริ ผู้ช่วยผู้บัญชาการตำรวจแห่งชาติ ให้สัมภาษณ์ในรายการเรื่องเล่าเช้านี้ ว่า เป็นระเบิดแสวงเครื่องน้ำหนักประมาณ 3 กิโลกรัม หรือ 5 ปอนด์ จุดระเบิดอยู่ด้านในรั้วศาลพระพรหมเอราวัณ (เดินเข้าศาลพระพรหมเลี้ยวซ้าย ระเบิดถูกวางริมรั้ว)

ทั้งนี้ แรงระเบิดค่อนข้างแรงมากกระจกแถวโรงแรมไฮแอทเอราวัณ ชั้น 1-3 แตกหมด และรถยนต์ที่ติดไฟแดงได้รับแรงระเบิดเสียหายหลายคัน รวมทั้งรถจักรยานยนต์ที่จอดติดไฟแดง ทั้งนี้ตีรัศมีตรวจสอบโดยรอบออกไปจากที่เกิดเหตุอีก 100-200 เมตร
