ชายหาด เกาะสมุยมีชายหาดที่สวยงามอยู
ชายหาด เกาะสมุยมีชายหาดที่สวยงามอยู่หลายแห่งรอบเกาะ ชายหาดที่นักท่องเที่ยวนิยมไปพักผ่อนกันมาก คือ หาดเฉวง และหาดละไม นอกจากนี้มีชายหาดที่อ่าวบางรัก บ้านบ่อผุด หาดหน้าทอน หาดท้องยาง หาดแม่น้ำ และหาดเชิงมน เป็นต้น
น้ำตก มีน้ำตกหินลาด น้ำตกลาดวานร และน้ำตกหน้าเมือง ห่างจากท่าเรือหน้าทอน 3 กิโลเมตร 6 กิโลเมตร และ 14 กิโลเมตร ตามลำดับ เป็นน้ำตกที่ประชาชนนิยมมาเที่ยวพักผ่อนกันมาก ในฤดูฝนมีน้ำมาก การประปาสุขาภิบาลยังได้อาศัยน้ำจากน้ำตกหินลาดทำน้ำประปาสำหรับแจกจ่ายให้ประชาชนในตลาดหน้าทอน และบริเวณใกล้เคียงบริโภค และที่น้ำตกหน้าเมือง 1 และ 2 จะมีกิจกรรมการนั่งช้างบริการนักท่องเที่ยว ตั้งแต่เวลา 09.00 – 17.00 น. ทุกวัน
พระใหญ่ หรือ พระพุทธโคดม เป็นพระพุทธรูปปางมารวิชัย ขนาดหน้าตักกว้าง 5 วา 9 นิ้ว ประดิษฐานอยู่บริเวณเกาะฟาน และเป็นที่ตั้งสำนักวิปัสสนากรรมฐานสำหรับให้ผู้สนใจปฏิบัติธรรมพักอาศัยได้
พระธาตุหินงู พระบรมสารีริกธาตุเกาะสมุย หรือชาวเกาะสมุยเรียกว่าพระธาตุศิลางู อยู่ห่างจากที่ว่าการอำเภอเกาะสมุย 17 กิโลเมตร ตามประวัติสร้างโดยชาวบ้านตำบลมะเร็ด ชื่อนายศรีทอง และได้มีพิธีบรรจุพระบรมสารีริกธาตุ เมื่อวันที่ 12 มิถุนายน พ.ศ. 2498 โดยเจ้าคุณพระอรรถทัศสิสุทธิพงศ์แห่งวัดชีโทน อำเภอผักไห่ จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยาเป็นผู้มอบให้ พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวฯ และสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าพระบรมราชินีนาถเสด็จมาทรงนมัสการ เมื่อวันที่ 24 เมษายน พ.ศ. 2505 ชาวเกาะสมุยจึงถือเป็นประเพณีมีงานนมัสการสืบมา
เจดีย์แหลมสอ เป็นเจดีย์ที่สร้างขึ้นโดยหลวงพ่อแดง พระภิกษุที่เป็นที่เคารพนับถืออย่างยิ่งของชาวเกาะสมุย มรณภาพเพราะเรืออับปาง เมื่อ พ.ศ. 2519 องค์พระเจดีย์ประดับด้วยกระเบื้องสีทองทั้งองค์ ภายในบรรจุพระบรมสารีริกธาตุ อยู่ริมทะเลเขตติดต่อระหว่างตำบลตลิ่งงาม-หน้าเมือง
วัดคุณาราม (วัดเขาโป๊ะ) บริเวณกิโลเมตรที่ 13 ใกล้น้ำตกหน้าเมือง มีพระซึ่งชาวบ้านเรียกว่า หลวงพ่อแดง หรือ หลวงพ่อแดง ปิยะสีโล (ท่านพระครูสมถกิตติคุณ) มรณภาพไปแล้วแต่ศพไม่เน่าเปื่อย บรรจุในโลงแก้ว ในท่านั่งวิปัสสนากรรมฐาน

บ้านควายไทยสมุย ตั้งอยู่ที่ 20 หมู่ 1 ตำบลหน้าเมือง บนเนื้อที่ 35 ไร่ เป็นที่แสดงถึงวิถีชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ การดำรงชีวิตตลอดจนเครื่องมือเครื่องใช้ของชาวนาไทย แสดงการทำนาปลูกข้าว การดำนา การเก็บเกี่ยว การตำข้าวโดยใช้ครก การใช้ควายกับคันไถในการพรวนดินแทนรถแทรกเตอร์ รวมทั้งแสดงการละเล่นของชาวนาในช่วงหลังเสร็จสิ้นการทำนา อาทิ การเล่นดนตรีบนหลังควาย เพื่อเป็นการผ่อนคลายความเหน็ดเหนื่อยจากการทำนา นอกจากนั้นภายในบริเวณยังได้จำลองให้เห็นและสัมผัสกับบรรยากาศแบบไทย ที่นี่มีบริการนั่งเกวียน หรือนั่งบนหลังควายสำหรับนักท่องเที่ยวที่ไม่เคยได้สัมผัสมาก่อน เปิดให้เข้าชมเวลา 09.00-17.00 น. สำหรับการแสดงจะมี 2 รอบ คือ เวลา 10.00 น. และ 15.00 น. ทุกวัน ค่าเข้าชม คนไทย ผู้ใหญ่ 200 บาท เด็ก 175 บาท ชาวต่างประเทศ ผู้ใหญ่ 350บาท เด็ก 225 บาท สอบถามข้อมูล โทร. 0 7741 8680 โทรสาร 0 7741 8680
หินตา หินยาย อยู่บริเวณอ่าวละไม ตำบลมะเร็ด เป็นปรากฏการณ์ธรรมชาติของหินแกรนิตเกิดจากการกัดเซาะโดยน้ำทะเลและความร้อนจนเกิดเป็นโขดหินรูปร่างประหลาด มีนิทานท้องถิ่นเล่ากันต่อๆ มาว่า นานมาแล้ว มีตายายคู่หนึ่งชื่อ ตาเครงกับยายเรียม เป็นชาวปากพนัง จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช เดินทางโดยเรือใบเพื่อจะไปสู่ขอลูกสาวของตาม่องล่าย จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ ให้กับลูกชาย ครั้นเรือแล่นมาถึงบริเวณอ่าวละไม เกิดพายุใหญ่ทำให้เรือล่ม ทั้งตาและยายเสียชีวิต คลื่นซัดขึ้นเกยหาดและกลายเป็นหินที่เห็นในปัจจุบันนี้
พิพิธภัณฑ์พื้นบ้านวัดละไม อยู่ในวัดละไม เป็นอาคารไม้ 2 ชั้น เป็นที่รวบรวมของเก่า เครื่องมือเครื่องใช้ชีวิตประจำวันของชาวบ้านบนเกาะและที่อื่น ๆ ในภาคใต้ เช่น ตะเกียงโบราณแบบต่าง ๆ กรงนกเขา กลองมโหระทึก อายุกว่า 300 ปี เป็นศิลปกรรมในยุคโลหะของวัฒนธรรมดองซอนตอนเหนือของเวียดนาม ค้นพบเมื่อปี 2543 ใช้ในพิธีกรรมขับไล่ผี ขอฝน เป็นต้น
สวนผีเสื้อสมุย ตั้งอยู่บนเนินเขาติดทะเลทางทิศใต้ของเกาะสมุย บริเวณแหลมนาเทียน ห่างจากหมู่บ้านชาวประมงบ้านหัวถนน 3 กิโลเมตร มีเนื้อที่ 20 ไร่ ภูมิประเทศเป็นเนินเขาที่ค่อยๆ ลาดลงสู่ทะล มีส่วนที่เป็นสวนพฤกษศาสตร์จัดเป็นสวนหินปลูกไม้ดอกไม้ประดับ รวบรวมพันธุ์ไม้ไทย พืชสมุนไพรและไม้ป่านานาชนิด เพื่อจัดเป็นที่อยู่สำหรับผีเสื้อ และมีบริเวณที่จัดไว้สำหรับนักท่องเที่ยวได้ชมเช่น บ้านผึ้ง เป็นบ้านไม้ไทย ภายในเป็นห้องมืดจัดแสดงการเจริญเติบโตของผึ้งในรังอย่างละเอียด พิพิธภัณฑ์แมลง จัดแสดงพันธุ์แมลงทั้งพันธุ์ไทยและพันธุ์ต่างประเทศ สวนผีเสื้อสมุยเปิดให้เข้าชมทุกวัน เวลา 08.30-17.00 น. อัตราค่าเข้าชมผู้ใหญ่ 100 บาท เด็ก 50 บาท ชาวต่างประเทศ ผู้ใหญ่ 200 บาท เด็ก 100 บาท รายละเอียดติดต่อ โทร. 0 7742 4020–21
