พระวิหารพระพุทธชินราช เป็นวิหารทรงโรง เป็นที่ประดิษฐานพระพุทธชินราช ซึ่งนับถือกันว่าเป็นพระพุทธรูปที่งดงามที่สุดองค์หนึ่งในโลก ตัวพระวิหารสร้างมาตั้งแต่สมัยกรุงสุโขทัย และได้รับการบูรณะให้มีสภาพดีมาตลอดจนถึงสมัยปัจจุบัน พระวิหารหลังนี้จึงเป็นสถาปัตยกรรมสมัยกรุงสุโขทัยที่มีความสง่างามสมส่วน และยังคงสภาพสมบูรณ์ดีที่สุดแห่งหนึ่งของไทยมีบานประตูประดับมุก 2 บานคู่ กว้าง 1 เมตร สูง 4.50 เมตร เป็นบานประตูประดับมุกโบราณที่งดงามที่สุดแห่งหนึ่ง ตัวบานประตูมุกสร้างขึ้นใหม่เมื่อ พ.ศ. 2299 สมัยพระเจ้าบรมโกศ และได้ทรงนำบานประตูไม้แกะสลักเดิมไปถวายเป็นบานประตูพระวิหารพระแท่นศิลาอาสน์

ภายในวิหาร ประดิษฐาน พระพุทธชินราช หรือเรียกว่า "หลวงพ่อใหญ่" เป็นพระพุทธรูปปางมารวิชัย
