วัตถุประสงค์ของการจัดทำแอปพลิเคชันส

วัตถุประสงค์ของการจัดทำแอปพลิเคชันสื่อการสอนโครงสร้างโมเลกุลเคมีนั้น เพื่อใช้เป็นสื่อประกอบการเรียนการสอนในเรื่องการศึกษาโครงสร้างโมเลกุล โดยนำแอปพลิเคชันนี้มาช่วยในการแสดงรูปภาพโครงสร้างโมเดลแบบ 3มิติ ของโครงสร้างโมเลกุลแบบเดิม ที่อธิบายเป็นรูปภาพ 2มิติ ซึ่งสามารถมองดูโครงสร้างโมเลกุลได้แบบรอบทิศทาง ซึ่งรูปภาพแบบเดิมปกติไม่สามารถทำได้
แอปพลิเคชันนี้ถูกพัฒนาโดยใช้ Augmented Reality มาช่วยในการพัฒนา ให้ทำงานได้บนระบบปฏบัติการ Android และระบบปฎิบัติการ IOS เทคโนโลยีเสมือนเป็นเทคโนโลยีที่แสดงโมเดลแบบ 3มิติ ที่อยู่วัตถุจริง โดยจะแสดงผ่านทางหน้าจออุปกรณ์ ดังนั้น อุปกรณ์ทีสามารถใช้ได้จึงต้องมีกล้องด้วย จึงจะสามารถแสดงรูปภาพโมเดล 3มิติ ได้
