การวิจัยในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อสร้างชุดฝึกทักษะการอ่านออกเสียง ร ล และศึกษาผลการใช้ชุดฝึกทักษะการอ่านออกเสียง ร ล ของนักเรียนกลุ่มเป้าหมายระหว่างก่อนและหลังใช้ชุดฝึก ซึ่งมีวิธีการและขั้นตอนในการวิจัย ดังนี้ ประชากรที่ทำการศึกษาเป็นนักเรียน
ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5/11 ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2557 ของโรงเรียนปทุมเทพวิทยาคาร
อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดหนองคาย ซึ่งมีจำนวน 10 คน และเป็นนักเรียนที่มีปัญหาในเรื่องการอ่านออกเสียงพยัญชนะ ร ล ไม่ถูกต้อง ผู้วิจัยได้ทำการศึกษาและเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลในระหว่าง
วันที่ 16-20 มิถุนายน 2557 โดยใช้เวลาในการทำการฝึกให้กับนักเรียนกลุ่มเป้าหมายในคาบเรียนที่ 9 ของวันจันทร์ถึง วันศุกร์ เป็นเวลา 1 สัปดาห์ โดยใช้ชุดฝึกทักษะการอ่านออกเสียงที่สร้างขึ้นจำนวน 4 ชุด และให้นักเรียนทำการทดสอบก่อนเรียน ก่อนการฝึกปฏิบัติจากชุดฝึกและเริ่มทำการฝึกตั้งแต่ชุดฝึกที่ง่ายไปหาชุดฝึกที่ยาก มีการวัดผลระหว่างการทำกิจกรรมเป็นระยะ
และวัดผลการฝึกทักษะการอ่านออกเสียงทุกชุดฝึก จากนั้นให้นักเรียนทำแบบทดสอบหลังเรียนและบันทึกผลลงในตารางบันทึกผลที่สร้างขึ้น เพื่อเปรียบเทียบสถิติก่อนใช้และหลังใช้ชุดฝึก
ในการฝึกนักเรียนสนใจและให้ความร่วมมือดีมาก บางคนมาขอฝึกก่อนเวลาที่กำหนด บางคนเมื่อออกเสียงได้ชัดเจนแล้วก็ช่วยฝึกให้เพื่อนอีกด้วย ทำให้นักเรียนมีความมั่นใจในตัวเอง กล้าพูด กล้าแสดงออก ทำให้นักเรียนกลุ่มเป้าหมายมีคะแนนทดสอบหลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนทุกคน และการวิเคราะห์หาประสิทธิภาพของชุดฝึกมีค่าเท่ากับ 83.25/82.20 ทำให้ผลการใช้ชุดฝึก
ประสบผลสำเร็จตามเกณฑ์ 70/70 นักเรียนทุกคนมีพัฒนาการด้านการอ่านออกเสียงพยัญชนะ
