การศึกษาปริญญานิพนธ์นี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทำการศึกษาเกี่ยวกับการใช้สารให้สีจากธรรมชาติ เพื่อใช้ทดแทนสารให้สีเคมีให้เหมาะสมต่อต้นทุนของกระบวนการทางผลิตสำหรับบรรจุภัณฑ์ฉลาด ( Intelligent Packaging ) โดยใช้สารให้สีจากธรรมชาติทั้งหมด 3 ชนิด คือ อัญชัน ขมิ้นและ กะหล่ำปลีม่วงร่วมกับไททาเนียมไดออกไซด์ (Tio2) และกลีเซอรอล (Glycerol) หลังการฉายแสงยูวี พบว่าฟิล์มของสารให้สีทั้ง 3 ชนิดมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงไปในทางเดียวกัน คือ จากสีเข้มไปสีอ่อน ฟิล์มอัญชันในอัตราส่วนโดยน้ำหนักของไททาเนียมไดออกไซด์และกลีเซอรอล 50 : 1500 และ 70 : 1500 มิลลิกรัม ฟิล์มกะหล่ำปลีม่วง 50 : 1500 มิลลิกรัม ใช้เวลาในการเปลี่ยนแปลงสีน้อยที่สุดสามารถมองเห็นความแตกต่างได้ด้วยตาเปล่า แต่ฟิล์มขมิ้นมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงสีได้น้อย ไม่สามารมองเห็นการเปลี่ยนสีได้ด้วยตาเปล่า
