วัดปราสาทสิทธิ์ มีชื่อเดิมที่ชาวบ้านเรียกว่าวัดดอนไผ่หรือวัดหลักห้า สร้างขึ้นในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 4 ปีฉลู พ.ศ. 2369 จัดสร้างโดยสมเด็จเจ้าพระยาบรมมหาศรีสุริยวงศ์ (ช่วง บุนนาค)
