1. กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่เป็นนักศึกษาเพศหญิง มีภูมิลำเนาอยู่ในจังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช ที่ไม่ใช่จังหวัดอื่นๆ โดยกลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่นั้นพักอาศัยอยู่หอพักทั้งในและนอกมหาวิทยาลัย และได้รับเงินทุนทางการเรียนจากบิดามารดาหรือผู้ปกครอง
2. นักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่ 1 สาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการสื่อสารสากล คณะวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลศรีวิชัย มีระดับการปรับตัวในแต่ละด้านและการปรับตัวทั้งหมดอยู่ในระดับมาก
3. นักศึกษาเพศชายและเพศหญิงมีการปรับตัวด้านการเรียน ด้านสังคม ด้านอารมณ์แต่ละบุคคลและการปรับตัวทั้งหมดแตกต่างกัน โดยที่มีการปรับตัวด้านการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมของมหาวิทยาลัยไม่แตกต่างกัน
