การวิจัย เรื่อง ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความเสี่ยงและผลตอบแทนต่อความกดดันทางการเงิน ของ วิสาหกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อม จัดทำขึ้นโดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1.) เพื่อศึกษาภาวะความกดดันทางการเงินของวิสาหกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อม 2.) เพื่อศึกษาถึงความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยด้านความเสี่ยงและผลตอบแทนของวิสาหกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อม 3.) เพื่อศึกษาผลกระทบของความเสี่ยงและผลตอบแทนต่อความกดดันของวิสาหกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อม ซึ่งรูปแบบการวิจัยในครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษา คือ ผู้ประกอบธุรกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อม โดยมีการใช้กลุ่มตัวอย่างทั่วประเทศ เป็นกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยทำการสุ่มจำนวนตัวอย่างในการศึกษาทั้งสิ้น 150 คน โดยใช้แบบสอบถามการเป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล และทำการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้โปรแกรมสำเร็จรูปทางสถิติเพื่อการวิเคราะห์ปัจจัยค่าสถิติที่ใช้ ได้แก่ การแจกแจงความถี่ ( Frequency Distribution ) ค่าร้อยละ ( Percentarge ) ค่าเฉลี่ยเลขคณิต ( Arithmetic Mean ) และ ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ( Standard Deviatior ) และ การวิเคราะห์โมเดลสมการโครงสร้าง ( Structural Equation Model Analysis )
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่เป็นผู้ประกอบธุรกิจค้าปลีกและค้าส่งคิดเป็นร้อยละ 58.5 ธุรกิจอุตสาหกรรมคิดเป็นร้อยละ 25.5 และธุรกิจบริการคิดเป็นร้อยละ 16 เมื่อพิจารณาด้านการวางแผนขยายกิจการการลงทุน ขยายกิจการเพื่อที่จะลงทุนในระดับต่อไปได้ รวมทั้งความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับการทำธุรกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อม ว่าควรมีแผนการดำเนินธุรกิจอย่างไร และสามารถสรุปถึงปัจจัยในแต่ละด้านได้ดังนี้
1. ปัจจัยด้านความเสี่ยงที่ส่งผลกระทบต่ออยู่ประกอบการขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อมถือเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญในการประกอบธุรกิจ ซึ่งความเสี่ยงที่เกิดขึ้นอาจจะมาจากความเสี่ยงที่ควบคุมได้และควบคุมไม่ได้
2. ปัจจัยที่ทำให้ธุรกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อมมีผลตอบแทนเป็นไปตามความพึงพอใจของผู้ประกอบการ ซึ่งผลตอบแทนของธุรกิจอาจจะอยู่ในรูปแบบของกำไร หรือ การเจริญเติบโตในส่วนของยอดขาย เป็นต้น ถือว่าเป็นแรงจูงใจที่สำคัญในการประกอบธุรกิจ
ปัจจัยความกดดันทางด้านการเงินที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อผู้ประกอบการขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อมคือปัจจัยภายนอกธุรกิจที่เกี่ยวกับภาวะเศรษฐีในปัจจุบันซึ่งมีผลกระทบมาจากการเคลื่อนย้ายแรงงานราคาวัตถุดิบ และ คู่แข่งทางการค้าที่เพิ่มสูงขึ้น เนื่องจากเป็นปัจจัยที่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงตลอดเวลาและธุรกิจไม่สามารถควบคุมได้ กลยุทธ์ความอยู่รอดของธุรกิจสำหรับผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อมเพื่อให้รับมือกับระบบเศรษฐกิจในปัจจุบัน ดังนั้นธุรกิจจะต้องมีการบริหารธุรกิจเมื่อธุรกิจมีการบริหารงานที่ดีแล้วนอกจากจะรักษาสภาพคล่องของบริษัทให้อยู่ในระดับที่ดีแล้ว ก็จะให้ธุรกิจเกิดผลตอบแทนที่สูง ส่งผลดีต่อผู้ประกอบการโดยอาจจะขยายออกไปทั่วประเทศ ซึ่งเป็นการส่งเสริมระบบเศรษฐกิจของประเทศให้เติบโตขึ้นในระดับหนึ่งอีกด้วย
