ลักษณะอากาศทั่วไปเมื่อเวลา 04:00 น. บริเวณความกดอากาศสูงกำลังค่อนข้างแรงระลอกใหม่ได้แผ่ปกคลุมประเทศจีนตอนล่างแล้ว และคาดว่าจะแผ่ลงมาปกคลุมประเทศไทยตอนบนในคืนนี้ ลักษณะเช่นนี้ทำให้ในช่วงวันที่ 18-20 พฤศจิกายน 2557 ประเทศไทยตอนบนอากาศจะเย็นลง และอุณหภูมิจะลดลง 2-4 องศาเซลเซียส ส่วนมรสุมตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือที่พัดปกคลุมอ่าวไทยและภาคใต้ จะมีกำลังแรงขึ้น ทำให้ภาคใต้ตอนล่างมีฝนเพิ่มมากขึ้นและมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง สำหรับบริเวณอ่าวไทยจะมีคลื่นสูง 2-3 เมตร ขอให้ชาวเรือเดินเรือด้วยความระมัดระวัง และเรือเล็กบริเวณอ่าวไทยตั้งแต่จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานีลงไปควรงดออกจากฝั่งในช่วงวันที่ 18-20 พฤศจิกายน 2557
