เพื่อกระตุ้นและส่งเสริมสังคมไทยให้สนใจและเห็นความสำคัญของวิทยาศาสตร์ที่มีต่อ การพัฒนาประเทศ และปลูกฝังให้เยาชนมีทัศนคติที่ดีต่อวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
เพื่อเป็นสถานที่ให้ความรู้และความเพลิดเพลินของครอบครัว รวมทั้งเป็นแหล่งท่อง เที่ยวของนักท่องเที่ยว ทั้งชาวไทยและต่างประเทศ
