การประชุมการท่องเที่ยวอาเซียน ASEAN

การประชุมการท่องเที่ยวอาเซียน ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF 2015) เป็นงานที่จัดต่อเนื่องเป็นประจำทุกปี มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการท่องเที่ยวระหว่างประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียน และสนับสนุนให้ภูมิภาคอาเซียนเป็นจุดหมายปลายทางเดียว (Single Destination) สำหรับปี ๒๕๕๘ ประเทศเมียนมาร์ได้เป็นเจ้าภาพในการจัดงานภายใต้ Theme “ASEAN-Tourism Towards Peace, Prosperity and Partnership”ในระหว่างวันที่ ๒๒-๒๙ มกราคม ๒๕๕๘ ณ กรุงเนปิดอว์ สาธารณรัฐแห่งสหภาพเมียนมาร์ ประกอบด้วย ๓ กิจกรรมหลัก ได้แก่

(๑) การประชุมระดับรัฐมนตรีท่องเที่ยว
(๒) การประชุมระดับเจ้าหน้าที่อาวุโสด้านการท่องเที่ยว
(๓) งานส่งเสริมการขาย Travel Exchange (TRAVEX)

นอกจากนี้ ททท. ได้จัดกิจกรรม Media Briefing ซึ่งรองผู้ว่าการ ด้านตลาดอาเซียน เอเชียใต้ และแปซิฟิกใต้ บรรยายสรุปสถานการณ์การท่องเที่ยวและสินค้าการท่องเที่ยวของประเทศไทยกับผู้สื่อข่าวจากต่างประเทศ ในวันที่ ๒๘ มกราคม ๒๕๕๘ ณ Myanmar International Convention Centre 1 (MICC 1) รวมทั้งจัดกิจกรรม Late Night Function: 2015 Discover Thainess at Thai Night ณ โรงแรม Grand Amara โดยมีการแสดงดนตรีไทยประยุกต์ และการแสดงวัฒนธรรมไทย ซึ่งได้รับการตอบรับเป็นอย่างดีจากผู้เข้าร่วมชมงานกว่า ๕oo ราย
