tThe induction of secondary embryos in androgenic and zygotic embryos of Datura metel (L.) (Solanaceae)was investigated by excising their shoot and root meristems and culturing the hypocotyls on Nitschmedium. Androgenic embryos produced secondary embryos on the hypocotyl.
