การศึกษาวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ (Survey Research) ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในทีมวิจัยที่ศึกษาความผูกพันของบุคลากรในประเทศกลุ่มเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (The Association of South East Asian Nations : ASEAN) มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสถานการณ์การสร้างความผูกพันของบุคลากรอินโดนีเซียที่ทำงานอยู่ในองค์การไทย และเพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อความผูกพันของบุคลากรชาติอินโดนีเซียที่ปฏิบัติงานในองค์การไทยในประเทศอินโดนีเซีย โดยใช้แบบสอบถามออนไลน์เป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล จากบุคลากรชาติอินโดนีเซียในระดับบริหาร และระดับปฏิบัติการที่ทำงานในองค์การภาคพลังงานของไทยในประเทศอินโดนีเซีย จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 62 คน และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการใช้โปรแกรมสำเร็จรูปทางสถิติเพื่อการวิจัยทางสังคมศาสตร์ (SPSS)
