แสงเป็นปัจจัยสภาพแวดล้อมที่สำคัญในการทำงานโดยเฉพาะผู้ที่ปฏิบัติงานอยู่ในอาคารสำนักงาน ที่จำเป็นต้องใช้แสงสว่างในการทำงาน ถือได้ว่าแสงมีผลต่อประสิทธิภาพการทำงาน ผู้นำเสนอจึงมีความสนใจที่จะศึกษาเรื่อง “ความเข้มแสงในสถานที่ทำงานของมหาวิทยาลัยกาฬสินธุ์ กรณีศึกษา อาคารสำนักงานบรรณราชณครินทร์ มหาลัยวิทยากาฬสินธุ์” มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1. ศึกษาความเข้มแสง และเปรียบเทียบความเข้มแสงของแต่ละจุด 2. เพื่อเสนอแนวทางการปรับปรุงแสงสว่างในสถานที่ทำงาน โดยผลการศึกษาที่ได้นำมาใช้เป็นข้อมูลพื้นฐานในการปรับปรุงการใช้แสงสว่างในที่ทำงานและอาคารสำนักงานต่อไป
