กิติพงษ์ ขัติยะ (2537:บทคัดย่อ) ทําการวิจัยเรื่อง”การศึกษาความต้องการจัดบริการด้านการ ออกกําลังกายเพื่อสุขภาพของนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 1 ปการศึกษา 2537 สถาบันเทคโนโลยีการเกษตรแม่โจ้” พบว่า นักศึกษามีความต้องการจัดบริการด้านกิจกรรมการออกกําลังกาย โดยเฉลี่ยอยู่ในระดับมากได้แก่กีฬาว่ายน้ํา,กีฬาแบดมินตัน,กีฬาบาสเกตบอล,กีฬาฟุตบอล,กีฬาเทนนิส,กีฬาวอลเลย์บอล,กีฬาเทเบิล,เทนนิส,กรีฑา,วิ่ง-เดิน ภายในสถาบันเทคโนโลยีการเกษตรแม่โจ้ กายบริหารประกอบดนตรีกีฬาตะกร้อและการเต้นแอโรบิค
