อาเซียน เป็นการรวมตัวกันของ 10 ประเทศ ในทวีปเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ได้แก่ มาเลเซีย พม่า กัมพูชา ลาว ไทย สิงคโปร์ เวียดนาม บรูไน ฟิลิปินส์ อินโดเนเซีย เพื่อการร่วมมือกันทาง เศรษฐกิจ สังคม และวัฒนธรรม

จากการที่ได้ไปฟังประสบการณ์ต่าง ๆ ในวันที่ 20 สิงหาคม 2015 ทำให้ได้เรียนรู้ว่า แต่ละประเทศจะมีความหลากหลาย ทั้งในเรื่องเชื้อชาติ ภาษา วิถีชีวิต ประเพณี และวัฒนธรรม ซึ่งหัวใจสำคัญของอาเซียนก็คือ การที่แต่ละประเทศได้ไปมาหาสู่เชื่อมโยงติดต่อกันทางสังคมและวัฒนธรรม ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งที่ดี ทำให้ประชาชนต่างเชื้อชาติกัน สามารถเข้ามาแลกเปลี่ยนสิ่งต่าง ๆ ในวิถีการใช้ชีวิตของแต่ละประเทศ ทำให้เกิดความแปลกใหม่ขึ้นในสังคมและอาจจะส่งผลให้สังคมเกิดการพัฒนาที่ดีขึ้นกว่าเดิมอีกด้วย

การเรียนรู้ ศึกษาวัฒนธรรม ของประเทศอื่น ๆ ไม่ใช่เรื่องผิด แต่เป็นเรื่องดีซะอีก เพราะจะทำให้คนที่มาจากที่ที่ต่างกัน สามารถมาใช้ชีวิตร่วมกันได้อย่างปราศจากความขัดแย้งและมีความสุข
