การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยแบบผสมผสาน ( Mixed Research ) มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมการป้องกันโรคมาลาเรียของประชาชนบ้านแม่สามแลบ เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการป้องกันโรคมาลาเรียของประชาชนบ้านแม่สามแลบ กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นกลุ่มประชาชนที่มีอายุตั้งแต่ 15 ปีขึ้นไป และมีสำมะโนครัวในบ้านแม่สามแลบ ตำบลแม่สามแลบ อำเภอสบเมย จังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน จำนาน 112 คน เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถาม ดำเนินการเก็บข้อมูลในช่วงเดือนมีนาคม 2558 นำข้อมูลมาวิเคราะห์ด้วยโปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์สำเร็จรูป แจกแจงข้อมูลด้วยค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน วิเคราะห์หาความสัมพันธ์โดยวิธี ไค –สแควร์ และการหาค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สัมพันธ์ของครอนบาช
