การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อพัฒนาเว็บไซต์ประชาสัมพันธ์ข่าวสารของสาขาวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์ คณะวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสุราษฎร์ธานี โดยมุ่งเน้นประสิทธิภาพในการเข้าใช้เว็บไซต์ข่าวสารของสาขาวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์ และระดับความพึงพอใจของผู้ใช้งานหลังจากการเข้าใช้เว็บไซต์
กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้คือ กลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจงและกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบสุ่มโดยกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจงเป็นนักศึกษาสาขาวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสุราษฎร์ธานีจำนวน 30 คน และกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบสุ่มเป็นนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสุราษฎร์ธานีจำนวน 28 คน คณาจารย์และเจ้าหน้าที่ในสาขาวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์จำนวน 2 ท่าน รวมทั้งสิ้น 50 คน
การเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล ใช้แบบสอบถามในการเก็บข้อมูลความพึงพอใจและความเชื่อมั่นการเก็บข้อมูลข้อมูลแบ่งออกเป็น 1ช่วง คือ แบบ One Shot Case Study มุ่งเน้นการวิจัยเชิงทดลองเพียงกลุ่มเดียว โดยศึกษาจากผลที่เกิดขึ้นจากตัวแปรตามว่าเกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลง หรือไม่ ไม่มีกลุ่มควบคุม ไม่มีการทดสอบก่อนทดลอง
จากการทดลองให้กลุ่มตัวอย่างใช้เว็บไซต์ประชาสัมพันธ์ข่าวสารของสาขาวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์ คณะวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีและให้กลุ่มตัวอย่างทำแบบสอบถามความพึงใจและแบบสอบความความเชื่อมั่นที่มีต่อเว็บไซต์ประชาสัมพันธ์ข่าวสารของสาขาวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์ คณะวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีตรงตามความต้องการของผู้ใช้ และมีระดับผลความพึงใจและระดับความเชื่อมั่นเฉลี่ยในเกณฑ์เห็นด้วยจากเว็บไซต์ประชาสัมพันธ์ข่าวสารของสาขาวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์ คณะวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
