ในปัจจุบันเราจะเห็นโรงเรียนแต่ละโรงเรียนในหลายๆประเทศแต่งชุดไม่เหมือนกัน ซึ่งทำให้เกิดความแตกต่าง ความเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของโรงเรียน บางโรงเรียนก็ให้แต่งชุดนักเรียน บางโรงเรียนก็ให้แต่งชุดไปรเวท ซึ่งทั้งชุดนักเรียนและชุดไปรเวทก็มีข้อดีข้อเสียแตกต่างกันไป
