บทคัดย่อ
การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาเรื่องประวัติความเป็นมาของปอยส่างลอง ว่าเกิดขึ้นได้อย่างไร และเป็นมายังยังไร เพราะอะไรทำไหมถึงจัดปอยส่างลองขึ้น และพิธีการนี้มีความสำคัญกับทางพระพุทธศาสนายังไง และถ้าจัดงานแล้วจะทำให้เกิดประโยชน์กับใคร และวิธีจัดงานต่างๆ ว่าจัดแบบไหน และจะต้องมีอุปกรณ์ในการจัดงานจนสำเสร็จนั้นควรใช้อะไร หรือของที่จะจัดเตรียมให้ส่างลองนั้นมีความหมายว่าอย่างไร และจะต้องใช้เวลากี่วันในการจัดงานปอยส่างลอง และในอดีตจนถึงปัจจุบัน มีการจัดงานมายังไงและมีใครให้ความสำคัญในการจัดงานบ้าง และสิ่งต่างๆเหล่านี้มารวมอยู่ในรายงานเล่มนี้แล้ว และผู้สนใจในประเพณีต่างๆ ก็จะทำให้ท่านได้ทราบซึ่งถึง เอกลักษณ์ทางวัฒนธรรมอีกด้วย และได้จัดเป็นขั้นตอนเพื่อให้ได้อ่านง่ายมากขึ้น
