การศึกษาค้นคว้าครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านโดยรูปแบบการเรียนรู้แบบ BBLด้วยเทคนิคจิ๊กซอว์ ภายหลังได้รับการพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านโดยรูปแบบการเรียนรู้แบบBBL ด้วยเทคนิคจิ๊กซอว์สูงกว่าการทดลอง
ดำเนินการโดยใช้รูปแบบการวิจัยแบบกลุ่มเดียวทดสอบก่อนเรียนและหลังเรียนในการพัฒนากิจกรรมการเรียนการสอนด้วยชุดการพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านโดยรูปแบบการเรียนรู้แบบBBL ด้วยเทคนิคจิ๊กซอว์ กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักเรียนโรงเรียนบ้านดอนข้าวหลาม อำเภอธาตุพนม จังหวัดนครพนม จำนวน 8 คนเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้จำนวน 5 แผนจำนวน 10 ชั่วโมง, จิ๊กซอว์, แบบประเมินการอ่าน
การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้ ค่าเฉลี่ย ร้อยละความก้าวหน้า ผลการวิจัย พบว่า
1. การศึกษาค้นคว้าครั้งนี้เป็นการพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านโดยรูปแบบการเรียนรู้BBL ด้วยเทคนิคจิ๊กวอว์ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 พบว่าหลังจากได้รับการพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านโดยรูปแบบการเรียนรู้ BBL ด้วยเทคนิคจิ๊กซอว์ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 พบว่าร้อยละ80 จำนวน 5 คน ร้อยละ65 จำนวน 3 คน และเมื่อนำข้อมูลจากตารางที่2 พบว่าร้อยละ 90 ขึ้นไป จำนวน 4 คน ร้อยละ80 ขึ้นไป จำนวน 4 คนตามลำดับ ดังนั้นนักเรียนจำนวน 8 คน เมื่อเปรียบเทียบระดับความสามารถในการอ่านจัดอยู่ในเกณฑ์ดีมาก จากข้อมูลดังกล่าวสรุปผลได้ว่าการพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษโดยรูปแบบการเรียนรู้BBLด้วยเทคนิคจิ๊กซอว์ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 สูงกว่าการทดลอง
