1. ปัญหาเกี่ยวกับความสามารถทางภาษา ทั้งภาษาไทยและภาษาต่างประเทศ ในส่วนของภาษาไทย พบว่าการสื่อข้อความทางการเขียนเพื่อให้เกิดความเข้าใจ อยู่ในระดับไม่น่าพอใจ ในส่วนภาษาอังกฤษ พบว่าการพูดเพื่อสื่อข้อความอยู่ในระดับอ่อน บัณฑิตที่สามารถใช้ภาษาอังกฤษได้ดีมีไม่มากนัก

3. ปัญหาทางด้านความรู้ความสามารถทางด้านวิชาการ เช่น ขาดความสามารถในการประยุกต์วิชาการสู่สภาพความเป็นจริงของสังคม ขาดการสร้างสรรค์ในทางวิชาการ แสดงออกถึงความไม่เท่าทันในวิทยาการใหม่ ๆ ในศาสตร์สาขานั้น ๆ
4. ปัญหาด้านการขาดความสามารถในเชิงการวิเคราะห์ และการคิดในเชิงบูรณาการ การมองประเด็นปัญหา ตลอดจนวิธีการแก้ไขปัญหา มักจะมีความคิดแบบแยกส่วน
5. ปัญหาในด้านการขาดการเรียนรู้การใช้เทคโนโลยีสมัยใหม่
