การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ มีวิธีการศึกษา คือ
1. ศึกษารวบรวมข้อมูลทุติยภูมิ ทบทวนเอกสาร ต่างๆที่เกี่ยวข้องโดยพิจารณาย้อนหลังไป10 ปี (ปี2547-2557)
2. นำข้อมูลมาวิเคราะห์ สังเคราะห์ กำหนดประเด็นของปัญหา ด้านการเกษตรข้าวไทยและแนวโน้มในอนาคตด้านการเกษตรข้าวไทยที่ต้องเผชิญ
3. ศึกษาแนวคิดการมีส่วนร่วม และ แนวคิดอุดมการณ์หลักการสหกรณ์พื่อนำมาปรับใช้และนำเสนอ“แนวทางการบรูณาการความร่วมมือทางการเกษตรเพื่อการตลาดข้าว"
