การเสียสละของบุคคลข้างต้น เป็นสิ่งที่เยาวชนไทยควรตระหนักและศึกษาเรียนรู้ พร้อมทั้งนำไปใช้เป็นแบบอย่างในการปฏิบัติเสียสละประโยชน์ส่วนตนเพื่อประโยชน์ส่วนรวม ซึ่งจะนำมาสู่ความสงบสุขของการอยู่ร่วมกันในสังคม

แนวทางการปฏิบัติตนเป็นผู้มีความเสียสละ คำนึงถึงผลประโยชน์ของส่วนรวมมากกว่าส่วนตน

อุทิศตนเป็นประโยชน์แก่สังคม

-สมัครเป็นคณะกรรมนักเรียน

-เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมพัฒนาชุมชน

-เข้าร่วมโครงการค่ายอาสาพัฒนาชนบท

-อุทิศร่างกายเพื่อการศึกษา การวิจัย และการรักษาทางการแพทย์ เป็นต้น

นำหลักคำสอนทางศาสนามาปรับใช้

-การสงเคราะห์ผู้อื่นด้วยการให้ทาน

-การแนะนำสิ่งที่เป็นประโยชน์ให้แก่ผู้อื่น

-การช่วยเหลือผู้อื่นในด้านต่างๆ

ใช้ทรัพยากรอย่างรู้คุณค่า

-เสียสละความสะดวกสบายส่วนตัว เช่น ใช้บริการรถสาธารณะแทนรถยนต์ส่วนบุคคล เพื่อลดการใช้พลังงาน

-เสียสละความสุขสบาย เช่น เดินขึ้นบันไดแทนการใช้ลิฟต์ เพื่อช่วยประหยัดไฟฟ้า
