ASEAN Political-Security Community : APSC เป็นเป้าหมายการรวมตัวกันของประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียน 10 ประเทศ ประกอบด้วย ไทย พม่า ลาว เวียดนาม มาเลเซีย สิงคโปร์ อินโดนีเซีย ฟิลิปปินส์ กัมพูชา และ บรูไน เพื่อเพิ่มอำนาจต่อรองกับคู่ค้า และเพิ่มขีดความสามารถการแข่งขันทางด้านเศรษฐกิจระดับโลก รวมถึงมีการยกเว้นภาษีสินค้าบางชนิดให้กับประเทศสมาชิก ส่งเสริมให้ภูมิภาคมีความเจริญมั่งคั่ง มั่นคง ประชาชนอยู่ดีกินดี และความร่วมมือในประเด็นความมั่นคงในรูปแบบใหม่ ได้แก่ อาชญากรรมข้ามชาติ การค้ามนุษย์ข้ามชาติ การค้ายาเสพติดข้ามชาติ และปัญหาภัยพิบัติ เป็นต้น
