การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ศึกษาพฤติกรรมของนักท่องเที่ยวในอุทยานแห่งชาติตะรุเตา (2) ศึกษาความพึงพอใจของนักท่องเที่ยวในอุทยานแห่งชาติตะรุเตา (3) ศึกษาปัญหาและข้อเสนอแนะของนักท่องเที่ยว เพื่อการปรับปรุงและพัฒนางานด้านนันทนาการในอุทยานแห่งชาติตะรุเตา (4) ศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยส่วนบุคคลของนักท่องเที่ยวในอุทยานแห่งชาติตะรุเตากับพฤติกรรมทางด้านนันทนาการ (5) เปรียบเทียบความพึงพอใจทางด้านนันทนาการของนักท่องเที่ยวในอุทยานแห่งชาติตะรุเตา ตามตัวแปรปัจจัยส่วนบุคคลของนักท่องเที่ยวในอุทยานแห่งชาติตะรุเตา
.....ตามความคิดเห็นของนักท่องเที่ยวอุทยานแห่งชาติตะรุเตา กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นนักท่องเที่ยวอุทยานแห่งชาติตะรุเตา จำนวน 400 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ การหาค่าความถี่ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย เลขคณิต และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ทดสอบสมมุติฐานเพื่อหาความสัมพันธ์ ใช้สถิติ Chi-square และทดสอบสมมติฐานเพื่อเปรียบเทียบ ใช้สถิติ t test และ T test
