เยาวชนไทยก้าวไกลสู่อาเซียน
การเตรียมพร้อมของเยาวชนไทยให้ก้าวไกลสู่อาเซียนนั้นเป็นเรื่องที่สำคัญ โดยอาเซียนนั้นเป็นการรวมตัวกันของ 10 ประเทศ ในทวีปเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ให้เป็นชุมชนที่มีความแข็งแกร่ง สามารถสร้างโอกาสให้กับทุกคนและสามารถรับมือกับภัยคุกคามต่างๆและรูปแบบใหม่ๆได้ ทั้งด้านการเมือง ความมั่นคง เป็นต้น โดยทำให้สมาชิกในชุมชนมีสภาพความเป็นอยู่ที่ดี สามารถประกอบกิจกรรมทางเศรษฐกิจได้อย่างสะดวกยิ่งขึ้น
ในฐานะที่เราเป็นหนึ่งในเยาวชนของอาเซียน ซึ่งเยาวชนเป็นส่วนสำคัญ ในอนาคตข้างหน้า ที่จะมาพัฒนาประเทศของเรา เพราะฉะนั้นเราจึงต้องเตรียมความพร้อมเข้าสู่ประชาคมอาเซียนโดยทุกคนต้องช่วยกันเพื่อประเทศของเรา โดยเราต้องหมั่นศึกษาหาความรู้ โดยเฉพาะการฝึกฝนภาษาอังกฤษ ที่จะเป็นภาษาที่ใช้ในการสื่อสารกับสมาชิกในอาเซียนรวมทั้งเรียนรู้ภาษาของประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน เพราะในปี 2558 จะมีการเคลื่อนย้ายแรงงานในกลุ่มอาเซียนอย่างเสรี ซึ่งหากเยาวชนและแรงงานไทยของเรายังไม่มีความพร้อมหรือมีความสามารถไม่พอกับการแข่งขันก็อาจจะพลาดจากตำแหน่งงานที่ดีได้ และ 8 อาชีพที่สามารถย้ายแรงงานฝีมืออย่างเสรีในประชาคมอาเซียนได้แก่ แพทย์ ทันตแพทย์ พยาบาล นักสำรวจ วิศวกรรม บัญชี สถาปัตยกรรม กรบริการหรือการท่องเที่ยว ซึ่งเป็นอาชีพอิสระที่ได้มาตรฐานได้รับการรับรอง สามารถเคลื่อนย้ายไปหางานในประเทศแถบเอเชียได้ทันที ไม่มีการปิดกั้น อย่างไรก็ตามสิ่งที่ควรคำนึงถึงก็คือ เรื่องของสมรรถนะ ความรู้ความสามารถในการบริหารการทำงานกับเพื่อนร่วมงานอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพมีความสามารถในการปรับตัว มีความคล่องแคล่วว่องไวในการทำงานด้วย
