ก้าวแรกที่ได้เข้ามาในคณะพยาบาลศาสตร์ข้าพเจ้าได้อ่านปรัชญาบทนี้แล้วทำให้มีความรู้สึกอยากตั้งใจเรียน และมีความซื่อสัตย์ต่อตนเองและคนรอบข้างมากขึ้น เพราะอาชีพพยาบาลเป็นอาชีพที่ข้าพเจ้ารักมาก และเป็นวิชาชีพที่สมเด็จย่าท่านทรงรักมากเป็นพิเศษด้วย เป็นอาชีพที่ข้าพเจ้าใฝ่ฝันมาตั้งแต่เด็ก ซึ่งเป็นอาชีพที่อยู่ในดวงใจมาตลอดเวลา ทำให้ข้าพเจ้าคิดว่าเมื่อได้ทำงานแล้วทำให้ข้าพเจ้ามีความสุขมากที่สุด คือ ได้ทำความดี ได้ช่วยเหลือผู้รับบริการเมื่อยามเจ็บป่วย และให้ผู้ป่วยมีรอยยิ้ม มีความสุขมากที่สุด เพราะเหตุผลนี้ทำให้ข้าพเจ้าอยากที่จะศึกษาทางด้านพยาบาลมากขึ้น ตอนข้าพเจ้าอยู่เด็กๆพ่อได้ถามว่า ลูกโตขึ้นอยากเป็นอะไร ? ข้าพเจ้าได้บอกกับพ่อว่าอยากเป็นพยาบาล พ่อก็ได้ยิ้มให้และได้บอกกับลูกว่า ถ้าลูกอยากเป็นพยาบาลลูกต้องตั้งใจเรียนหนังสือ และ เป็นเด็กดี ถึงวันนี้ข้าพเจ้ายังจำได้ว่าพ่อได้สอนลูกให้เป็นคนดีของสังคมและข้าพเจ้าก็จะทำตามที่พ่อได้สอนไว้ ถึงปัจจุบันนี้พ่อได้รับรู้ว่าลูกทำได้แล้ว และพ่อได้ให้กำลังใจกับข้าพเจ้าตลอดเวลา พยาบาลที่ฉันอยากเป็นมากที่สุด คือ “อยากเป็นบุรุษพยาบาลที่ดี เก่ง และบำเพ็ญประโยชน์” เวลาสำเร็จการศึกษาในอนาคต เพราะอาชีพพยาบาล ต้องมีความซื่อสัตย์และอดทน มีจิตใจเมตตา กรุณา ต่อผู้รับบริการ ยิ้มแย้มแจ่มใส พูดจาไพเราะ พร้อมที่จะช่วยเหลือผู้ป่วยอยู่ตลอดเวลา ถือว่าเป็นหัวใจสำคัญของวิชาชีพพยาบาล หัวใจสำคัญนี้สามารถเยียวยาให้ผู้รับบริการบรรเทาอาการป่วยได้ เพราะได้เจอกับพยาบาลที่เปรียบเสมือนนางฟ้าที่พร้อมให้การพยาบาล ทำให้ผู้รับบริการมีความสุขและอบอุ่นใจมากที่สุดด้วย
