เทศกาลกินเจหาดใหญ่เป็นงานประจำปีของอำเภอหาดใหญ่และจังหวัดสงขลา เป็นเทศกาลของชาวไทยเชื้อสายจีนโดยผู้ที่เข้าร่วมถือศีลกินเจ ต้องรับประทานอาหารที่เป็นผักไม่กินเนื้อสัตว์และเครื่องปรุงที่มีกลิ่นฉุนและคาว ความหมายการกินเจ ไม่เพียงแต่ไม่กินเนื้อสัตว์ แต่ยังต้องทำตัวอยู่ในศีลที่ดี มีความบริสุทธิ์ สะอาด ทั้งกาย วาจา ใจ นอกจากนี้ภายในงานยังมีกิจกรรมการแสดงบนเวที แข่งขันกินอาหารเจ การสาธิตปรุงอาหารสูตรพิเศษ “เมนู 9 มงคล” จากเหล่าคนดัง การประกวดหนูน้อยสมบูรณ์ และกิจกรรมอื่นๆอีกมาก
