เมื่อวันที่ 5 กันยายน 2557 อาจารย์วาสนา แย้มพราย รองผอ.โรงเรียนสาธิตมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏภูเก็ต ฝ่ายประถมศึกษา และคณะครู นำตัวแทนนักเรียนเข้าร่วม "การแข่งขันการต่อเลโก้ตามจินตนาการ(LECO Education Brick Challenge 2014) ชิงแชมป์ประเทศไทย ในโครงการโอลิมปิกหุ่นยนต์ 2014" ที่มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏวไลยอลงกรณ์ ในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์โดยโรงเรียนสาธิตฯ ฝ่ายประถมศึกษา ได้จัดส่งทีมเข้าร่วมการแข่งขัน 2 ทีม คือ No.1 สามารถคว้ารางวัลชนะเลิศไปครอง ส่วนทีมสาธิตภูเก็ต No.2 นั้น ได้รับรางวัลชมเชยอันดับที่ 1 สร้างความภาคภูมิใจแก่นักเรียน ครู ผู้ปกครอง และมหาวิทยาลัยเป็นอย่างมาก
