โครงงานนี้จัดทำขึ้นจากนักศึกษามหาลัยสงขลานครินทร์วิทยาเขตภูเก็ต จัดทำขึ้นเพื่อศึกษาปัญหาของขยะ ในปัจจุบันโลกของเรามีปัญหามากมาย หนึ่งในนั้นคือปัญหาเรื่องขยะ ที่มีมากขึ้นทุกวันๆ เพราะมนุษย์เรามักนิยมวัสดุ เครื่องมือ สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกที่ใช้ง่าย สบายและรวดเร็ว แต่ในบางครั้งกลับไม่ได้คำนึงถึงปัญหาที่ จะเกิดตามมา เช่น ปัญหาเรื่องกลิ่น ปัญหาจากควันที่เกิดจากการเผาทำลายขยะของครัวเรือน และสิ่งที่เป็นผล กระทบตามมาอย่างหลีกเลี่ยงไม่ได้ คือ ปัญหาสุขภาพ ของคนในชุมชน
