 เป็นผู้ชนะจากรายการ เดอะวอยซ์ไทยแลนด์ เสียงจริง ตัวจริง ปีที่ 1 ซึ่งผลิตโดยบริษัท ทรู มิวสิค และบริษัท โต๊ะกลมโทรทัศน์ จำกัดในเครือเวิร์คพอยท์ เอ็นเทอร์เทนเมนท์[1] หลังจบรายการได้เซ็นสัญญาเป็นนักร้องในสังกัด i am ตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2555 จนถึงปัจจุบัน
เกิดเมื่อวันจันทร์ที่ 4 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2539 ที่บ้านสามกอง ตำบลตลาดใหญ่ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดภูเก็ต[2] เป็นบุตรคนสุดท้องของครอบครัว และมีพี่ชาย 1 คน

ธนนท์จบการศึกษาระดับประถมศึกษาถึงมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้นที่โรงเรียนเทศบาลบ้านสามกอง จ.ภูเก็ต จากนั้นเข้าศึกษาต่อระดับมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ที่ โรงเรียนสตรีภูเก็ต จ.ภูเก็ต ภายหลังจบการแข่งขันรายการ The Voice Thailand ธนนท์ย้ายมาศึกษาต่อในระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ที่ โรงเรียนสารสาสน์พิทยา กรุงเทพฯ ในปี 2556 ปัจจุบันกำลังศึกษาอยู่ในระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6

ธนนท์เริ่มร้องเพลงมาตั้งแต่วัยเด็ก โดยในระดับประถมศึกษา เป็นนักร้องประจำวงลูกทุ่งสามกองซุปเปอร์แดนซ์ โรงเรียนเทศบาลบ้านสามกอง จ.ภูเก็ต ช่วงอายุ 11 ขวบ (ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5) เคยออกรายการตีสิบ ช่วงดันดารา "รู้เสียง ไม่รู้หน้า" ครั้งนั้นได้ร้องเพลง "ฮักกันบ่ได้ดอก"[3] ในช่วงมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น ธนนท์เริ่มหัดร้องเพลงแนวป๊อป (pop) และเล่นกลองเป็นงานอดิเรก โดยรวมตัวตั้งวงดนตรี (วง Sicma, Limit, Ballad และ Rifle) กับเพื่อน ๆ ในจังหวัดภูเก็ตเพื่อแสดงและแข่งขันตามงานประกวดต่าง ๆ
