ด้วยองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดตาก ได้จัดทำแผนยุทธศาสตร์การพัฒนาองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดตาก (พ.ศ. ๒๕๕๘ - ๒๕๖๒) เพื่อกำหนดยุทธศาสตร์ และแนวทางการพัฒนาขององค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดตาก ซึ่งแสดงถึงวิสัยทัศน์ พันธกิจ และเป้าประสงค์ ให้สอดคล้องกับแผนพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจและสังคมแห่งชาติ ฉบับที่ ๑๑ แผนการบริหารราชการแผ่นดิน ยุทธศาสตร์การพัฒนาจังหวัดตาก ยุทธศาสตร์การพัฒนาองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นจังหวัดตาก นโยบายนายกองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดตาก และระเบียบกฎหมายที่เกี่ยวข้อง โดยถือปฏิบัติตามขั้นตอนระเบียบกระทรวงมหาดไทย ว่าด้วยการจัดทำแผนพัฒนาขององค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น พ.ศ.๒๕๔๘ ข้อ ๑๖ กล่าวคือ ได้จัดประชุมคณะกรรมการพัฒนาองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดตาก หัวหน้าส่วนราชการ องค์กรภาคเอกชน ตัวแทนภาคประชาชนระดับจังหวัด และประธานกลุ่มต่างๆ เพื่อแจ้งแนวทางการพัฒนาองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดตาก รับทราบปัญหา ความต้องการ ประเด็นการพัฒนา และประเด็นที่เกี่ยวข้อง ตลอดจนความช่วยเหลือทางวิชาการ และแนวทางปฏิบัติที่เหมาะสมกับสภาพพื้นที่ เพื่อนำมากำหนดแนวทางการจัดทำแผนยุทธศาสตร์การพัฒนา โดยนำข้อมูลพื้นฐานในการพัฒนาจากหน่วยงานต่างๆ มาพิจารณาประกอบการจัดทำแผนยุทธศาสตร์การพัฒนา เมื่อวันที่ ๑๗ เดือนกุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ. ๒๕๕๗ คณะกรรมการสนับสนุนการจัดทำแผนพัฒนาองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดตาก ได้รวบรวมแนวทางและข้อมูลนำมาวิเคราะห์เพื่อจัดทำร่างแผนยุทธศาสตร์การพัฒนาองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดตาก (พ.ศ. ๒๕๕๘ - ๒๕๖๒) ในคราวประชุม ครั้งที่ ๑ / ๒๕๕๗ เมื่อวันที่ ๒๒ พฤษภาคม ๒๕๕๗ และคณะกรรมการพัฒนาองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดตาก ได้พิจารณาร่างแผนยุทธศาสตร์การพัฒนาองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดตาก (พ.ศ. ๒๕๕๘ - ๒๕๖๒) ในคราวประชุมครั้งที่ ๑ / ๒๕๕๗ เมื่อวันที่ ๑๓ มิถุนายน ๒๕๕๗

อาศัยอำนาจตามระเบียบกระทรวงมหาดไทยว่าด้วยการจัดทำแผนพัฒนาขององค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น พ.ศ.๒๕๔๘ ข้อ ๑๖ (๔) และข้อ ๒๔ จึงขอประกาศใช้แผนยุทธศาสตร์การพัฒนาองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดตาก (พ.ศ. ๒๕๕๘ - ๒๕๖๒)

จึงประกาศให้ทราบโดยทั่วกัน
