กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ทำการศึกษาครั้งนี้ คือ ญาติผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยหลังผ่าตัดสมองครั้งแรก เพศชายและเพศหญิงที่มีอายุ 18 ปีขึ้นไป เข้ามาดูแลผู้ป่วยหลังผ่าตัดสมองที่เข้ารับการรักษา ณ หอผู้ป่วยไอซียูประสาทศัลยศาสตร์โรงพยาบาลศิริราช ที่เข้าเกณฑ์ดังนี้
