เนื่องจากเมื่อวันที่ 23 มีนาคม 2559 เวลา 16.20 น. ได้มีคนงานของผู้รับเหมาบริษัท TBEC ได้มุดเข้าไปทำงานในราง Gutter ซึ่งผิดหลักการทำงานประเภท Type2 ก่อนการเริ่มงานฮิตาชิได้แนะนำหัวหน้างานของ TBEC ให้เปิดฝาราง Gutter ออกเพื่อไม่ให้เป็น Confined Space ซึ่งหัวหน้างานรับทราบแล้ว แต่ขณะที่เริ่มทำงาน คนงานอาจจะเข้าใจผิดว่าสามารถทำได้
จากเหตุการณ์ในครั้งนี้ ข้าพเจ้า นายนิติพงษ์ ทุมวงค์ Construction Manager ในฐานะผู้ดูแลรับผิดชอบในโครงการ ขอสัญญาว่จะไม่ให้มีเหตุการณ์อย่างนี้เกิดขึ้นอีกในโครงการ RTPII
