โครงงานนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาและพัฒนาวิธีการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพของเครื่องปรับอากาศแบบแยกส่วนระบายความร้อนด้วยอากาศ โดยการนำอากาศที่ระบายออกจากห้องมาช่วยระบายความร้อนที่ชุดคอยล์ร้อน ทดลองกับเครื่องปรับอากาศแบบแยกส่วนขนาด 36,000 Btu/hr แบ่งการตรวจวัดข้อมูลเป็นช่วงกลางวัน ช่วงกลางคืน และตลอด 24 ชั่วโมงและแบ่งห้องทดลองออกเป็น 5 แบบ คือ ห้องปรับอากาศ ห้องปรับอากาศเปิดช่องระบายอากาศ ห้องปรับอากาศเปิดพัดลมระบายอากาศ ห้องปรับอากาศเปิดช่องระบายอากาศส่งลมผ่านคอยล์ร้อนและห้องปรับอากาศเปิดพัดลมระบายอากาศส่งลมผ่านคอยล์ร้อน โดยนำผลที่ได้มาวิเคราะห์และเปรียบเทียบค่ากำลังไฟฟ้า ชั่วโมงการทำงาน ค่าพลังงานไฟฟ้า ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สมรรถนะและประเมินความคุ้มค่าทางเศรษฐศาสตร์วิศวกรรม
