๑. ทรงศิขร หมายถึงรูปทรงพระปรางค์ ที่เน้นแบบแผนรูปลักษณ์ตามต้นแบบเดิมทุกประการ กล่าวคือสร้างขึ้นตามแบบแผนเดิมของขอม ที่เน้นคุณลักษณะของรูปทรงให้เป็นไปตามอย่างคติ “จำลองภูเขา” และ “สวรรค์ชั้นฟ้า” บนภาพความคิดของเขาพระสุเมรุ มีรูปทรงที่เน้นมวลอาคารให้ดูหนักแน่นมั่นคงเสมือนขุนเขา และให้รายละเอียดในเรื่อง
