“ดรีมเวิลด์” เป็นสวนสนุกและสถานที่พักผ่อนที่รวบรวมความบันเทิงนานาชนิดเข้าไว้ด้วยกันมีเนื้อที่ทั้งสิ้นประมาณ160ไร่ตั้งอยู่ที่กม.7รังสิตนครนายก(คลอง3)
“ดรีมเวิลด์” เกิดขึ้นจากความคิดริเริ่มของ“ตระกูลกิติพราภรณ์” ซึ่งในขณะนั้นได้ดำเนินธุรกิจเกี่ยวกับสวนสนุกคือสวนสนุกแดนเนรมิต
ที่มาของโครงการ จากประสบการณ์อันยาวนานในการบริหารงาน“สวนสนุกแดนเนรมิต” ทำให้ผู้บริหารมองว่า ในปัจจุบันโดยเฉพาะในกรุงเทพฯมีสวนสนุกประเภทนี้เพียง3แห่งเท่านั้นคือแดนเนรมิต,สวนสยามและซาฟารีเวิลด์ ซึ่งยังไม่เพียงพอสำหรับความต้องการของคนกรุงเทพฯซึ่งเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างรวดเร็ว
ด้วยเหตุนี้ผู้บริหารจึงมีโครงการที่จะเปิดสวนสนุกแห่งใหม่ขึ้นเพื่อให้เป็นสถานที่พักผ่อนหย่อนใจและเป็นปอดแห่งใหม่ของคนกรุงเทพฯรวมถึงเป็นแหล่งดึงดูดนักท่องเที่ยวชาวต่างชาติด้วย
ด้วยเงินลงทุนกว่า1,000ล้านบาทจินตนาการที่ไม่มีขอบเขตและความร่วมมือร่วมใจของผู้เชี่ยวชาญมากมายหลายสาขาทำให้“ดรีมเวิลด์” ถูกเนรมิตขึ้นมาให้เป็นโลกแห่งความสุขสำหรับครอบครัวแห่งใหม่ที่ทุกเพศทุกวัยสามารถสนุกสนานกับเครื่องเล่นที่ทันสมัยชมการแสดงต่างๆที่สุดแสนประทับใจหรือพักผ่อนกับบรรยากาศที่สวยงามและร่มรื่นด้วยพฤกษานานาพันธุ์
12พฤศจิกายน2536ดรีมเวิลด์เปิดบริการเป็นวันแรกโดยมีประชาชนให้ความสนใจเข้าเที่ยวชมเป็นจำนวนมาก
“ดรีมเวิลด์” มีนโยบายที่จะพัฒนาและปรับปรุงอยู่ตลอดเวลาไม่ว่าจะเป็นเครื่องเล่นที่แปลกใหม่บรรยากาศที่สดใสการแสดงที่น่าตื่นตาตื่นใจประกอบกับการพัฒนาทางด้านบุคลากรให้มีคุณภาพส่งผลให้ดรีมเวิลด์ได้รับความนิยมอย่างรวดเร็วจนทำให้กลายเป็นสถานที่ที่ครอบครัวนิยมมาพักผ่อนในวันหยุดสุดสัปดาห์

นอกจากความสนุกสนานของเครื่องเล่นต่างๆแล้ว“ดรีมเวิลด์” ยังได้จัดบริการร้านอาหารและเครื่องดื่มไว้ตามจุดต่างๆรอบๆสวนสนุกสำหรับคอยบริการให้กับผู้มาใช้บริการอย่างทั่วถึงพร้อมทั้งมีบริการรถรับ–ส่งจากด้านหน้าสวนสนุกไปยังลานจอดรถซึ่งสามารถจอดรถได้ถึง2,500คัน
