การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาหลักสูตรสร้างเสริมจิตสำนักสาธารณะสำหรับนักศึกษาวิชาชีพครูตามแนวคิดจิตตปัญญาศึกษา ด้วยวิธีการวิจัยและพัฒนา โดยมีขั้นตอนในการพัฒนาหลักสูตร 3 ระยะ คือ ระยะที่ 1 การร่างหลักสูตร ประกอบไปด้วย การศึกษาเอกสารและงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง การยกร่างหลักสูตร การตรวจสอบคุณภาพของหลักสูตรด้วยวิธีการสนทนากลุ่ม และการปรับปรุงแก้ไขหลักสูตร ระยะที่ 2 การทดลองใช้หลักสูตร ประกอบไปด้วย การทดลองใช้หลักสูตรด้วยการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการ และการปรับปรุงแก้ไขหลักสูตร และระยะที่ 3 การใช้ และการปรับปรุงแก้ไขหลักสูตร ประกอบไปด้วย การใช้หลักสูตรด้วยการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการ และการปรับปรุงแก้ไขหลักสูตร กลุ่มเป้าหมาย คือ กลุ่มเป้าหมาย ได้แก่ นักศึกษาวิชาชีพครู คณะครุศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเลย ในปีการศึกษา 2556 กลุ่มเป้าหมาย ทำการเลือกแบบอาสาสมัคร มีจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 30 คน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า หลักสูตรสร้างเสริมจิตสำนึกสาธารณะสำหรับนักศึกษาวิชาชีพครูตามแนวคิดจิตตปัญญาศึกษา มีองค์ประกอบของหลักสูตร 8 องค์ประกอบ ได้แก่ หลักการและเหตุผล วัตถุประสงค์ของหลักสูตร โครงสร้างหลักสูตร เนื้อหา กิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ สื่อการเรียนรู้ การประเมินผลการเรียนรู้ และการนำหลักสูตรไปใช้ แนวทางการนำหลักสูตรไปใช้แบ่งออกเป็น 2 มอดูล คือ มอดูล 1ชื่อ การพัฒนาตนเอง แบ่งออกเป็น 3 หน่วย 12 แผนการจัดกิจกรรม ใช้ระยะเวลาในการจัดกิจกรรม 16 ชั่วโมง มอดูล 2 ชื่อ การพัฒนาสังคม แบ่งออกเป็น 2 หน่วย 16 แผนการจัดกิจกรรม ใช้ระยะเวลาในการจัดกิจกรรม 32 ชั่วโมง รวมเวลาที่ใช้ทั้งสิ้น 48 ชั่วโมงหรือ 16 สัปดาห์หรือ 1 ภาคเรียน ผลการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา พบว่า กลุ่มเป้าหมาย มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงตนเองมีจิตสำนึกสาธารณะ และมีความพึงพอใจในหลักสูตร นอกจากนี้ยังพบว่า เพื่อน และคณาจารย์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับกลุ่มเป้าหมาย สังเกตเห็นการเปลี่ยนแปลงจิตสำนึกสาธารณะ และความมีพึงพอใจในกลุ่มเป้าหมาย
