เกณฑ์การประเมินผล
1. ผู้ป่วยไม่มีอาการและอาการแสดงของความเจ็บปวดได้แก่ ชีพจรเร็วขึ้น ความดันโลหิตสูง ร้องเอะอะโวยวาย กระสับกระส่าย ร้องครางหรือคลำบริเวณที่ปวด เป็นต้น
2. ผู้ป่วยบอกไม่มีอาการเจ็บปวด หรืออาการปวดทุเลาลง
3. ผู้ป่วยสามารถพักผ่อนนอนหลับได้อย่างน้อย 6-8 ชั่วโมง/วัน
4. ระดับความเจ็บปวดลดลง
