โครงงานพิเศษ 2D Animation เรื่อง FRIEND มีวัตถุประสงค์ในการศึกษาเพื่อถ่ายทอดทัศนคติในเรื่องความเอื้อเฟื้อเกื้อกูลกันออกมาในรูปแบบของภาพเคลื่อนไหว 2 มิติ ให้ผู้ชมมีความเข้าใจ เพื่อถ่ายทอดอารมณ์ความรู้สึกในเรื่องความเอื้อเฟื้อเกื้อกูลกันออกมาในรูปแบบของภาพเคลื่อนไหว 2 มิติ ให้ผู้ชมมีความสนุกสนานและเพลิดเพลิน เพื่อเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการนำไปใช้เป็นสื่อการเรียนการสอนของเด็กในช่วงปฐมวัย เรื่องนี้ พบว่ามีขั้นตอนในการผลิต 3 ขั้นตอน ได้แก่ 1.ขั้นตอนก่อนการผลิต 2.ขั้นตอนการผลิต 3.ขั้นตอนหลังการผลิต ซึ่งนอกจากนี้ โครงงานพิเศษยังทำให้ผู้ศึกษาสามารถนำไปพัฒนาการเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับสื่อด้าน 2D Animation ให้ดียิ่งขึ้นในอนาคตและยังทำให้รู้จักหลักการเกี่ยวกับการทำ 2D Animation ยังมีอีกมากมาย ควรสร้างพื้นฐานที่ดีในการทำแอนิเมชั่นให้กับนักศึกษารุ่นต่อไป
