โครงงานฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาโครงสร้างจุลภาค และสมบัติทางกลของการเชื่อมต่อระหว่างเหล็กกล้าคาร์บอนเกรด AISI 1050 และเหล็กกล้าหล่อผสมต่ำเกรด AISI 4140 ด้วยลวดเชื่อมหุ้มฟลักซ์ เกรด 308 L16, 309 L16 และ 316 L16 จากนั้นนำมาทำการตรวจสอบ และวิเคราะห์โครงสร้างจุลภาค และสมบัติทางกล
ผลการทดสอบ พบว่าลวดเชื่อมหุ้มฟลักซ์ เกรด 308 L16 มีค่าความแข็งประมาณ 314.4 HV และ 309 L16 มีค่าความแข็งประมาณ 313.7 HV แต่ลวดเชื่อม 316 L16 มีค่าความแข็งประมาณ 200.9 HV และผลการตรวจสอบและวิเคราะห์โครงสร้างจุลภาคด้วยภาพถ่ายที่มีลักษณะโครงสร้างจุลภาคเป็นเฟอร์ไรท์ และเพิรลไลท์ ส่วนบริเวณแนวเชื่อมโครงสร้างประกอบด้วย ออสเตนไนต์ และ เดลต้าเฟอร์ไรท์
